Leslie Johnstone Grice

Profile Updated: October 11, 2009
Class Year: 1973
Residing In: Pocahontas, AR USA
Children: I have one son. Cody will be 20 next Feb. 2010. I graduated in 1973. The events I could share in this More…section are not extremely interesting. I've lived. I've been fortunate. How I landed in a rural town in Arkansas USA is a long, short story. I'll spare you. After nine years, I'm still not over the culture shock! I doubt there is anyone I do not remember from "back in the day". I hope all are well and enjoying life. Cheers, Leslie Johnstone
Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

I doubt there is anyway that I'd make it back to Virginia for the reunion. I wish I could. I know Franklin is very different since I last visited, but I will always be homesick. If I'd landed in Florida, it might not be so hard!

Oh, this is the section in which I had the opportunity to bore you. The other was focused on developmental stages it seems. Well, yes, I was born in the '80s, but had such academic difficulties I was held back; way back. That is how I graduated with the class of 1973.

School Story:

I recall many funny events. But, I can't share them to protect the identities...joking. No I'm not. Actually, by the time we graduated, I felt we had a diverse group of personalities that meshed because understanding and acceptance of differences was steering us in a new direction.
It seemed to be a friendly atmosphere. Or was I not paying attention? I am joking. That is how I remember 1973. I will never forget our Senior Night (not sure of the title). We put on some short skits that still make me laugh. Any one recall Mitzi's attempt to bring burlesque' into the football training program? She lead there clumsy, yet sincere attempt to master that art. That night just popped into my mind. There are too many stories; funny, sad, and interesting. The gossip mill was kinda fun too!
