Children: | I have two great children. Eric, age 36, is married with one adorable son. He and his wife More…live in Bryan, TX. Eric is a math teacher, teaching algebra in middle school. He coached at Tivy HS for several years, coaching football and baseball. Now he just teaches and enjoys being a father/husband, hunting and yard work. I wouldn't change anything about him except moving him closer. I miss being able to see him and his son whenever I want. Angie, age 34, is married and living in Corpus Christi. She attended college there and fell in love with a local boy who will never leave the water. She is an elementary teacher and does a great job. She and her husband have two daughters, age almost 5 and almost 1. I truly wished they lived closer too. The best part of being my age is being a grandmother (Whoa Whoa to the Emma and Addy, and Omie to Braxton). This is my favorite retirement activity. I couldn't love them more. I am truly proud of my kids. |

Yes
Upon graduationg from Austin School of Business in 1968, I married Wayne Pehl and moved to Kerrville, where I still live.
I worked as a secretary/program assistant at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 33 years. I loved my job and truly enjoyed working with and for veterans and their families.
I was active in my children's activities and loved every moment of it. I miss this very much.
I was married to Wayne for 21 years before we divorced. I am now married, and have been for 17 years, to Jim Urquhart. Jim is a veteran having served in Vietnam (two tours) and in Desert Shield. He is retired both from the VA and from the military.
We live in a very small house with a big yard and it keeps me busy. I love doing yard work.
My hobbies are my grandchildren, bowling and jewelry making.
Now, I am a 60 year old, gray haired lady who is enjoying retirement - did I mention I am a shopaholic.
I feel that those of us who attended school in Fredericksburg "back in the day" were extremely lucky. We got a great education and formed life-long friendships.
We were truly lucky!
