Andrew Henning

After graduation I decided to stick close to home and attended Highland Community College. Graduated from Highland in 1992 and then headed to Iowa State University to study Architecture. Graduated from Iowa State in 1997 and at that point I decided the Midwest winters just weren't for me anymore. I moved to Dallas in 1998 and went to work for HKS Architects in their Sports and Entertainment Group. I've been with HKS for nearly 12 years now and have been fortunate enough to have been able to combine my two loves in life - sports and architecture. Projects that I have been lucky to be a part of include Miller Park for the Milwaukee Brewers, U.S. Cellular Field Renovations for the Chicago White Sox, and Dodger Stadium Renovations for the Los Angeles Dodgers. I am currently working in Phoenix, Arizona on a new baseball Spring Training Facility for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Outside of work, I married my wife Tonia in 2005. She's been an absolute perfect match for me with the only problem being that she is a graduate of Belvidere! For those of you who meet her at the reunion, please don't hold back on giving her plenty of trouble about this. I constantly do and we have some good fun picking on each about our high school rivalry.

No one will forget the infamous Senior campout, right? Don't think I'm not still upset 20 years later about the fact that I was the ONLY person arrested out of the 300+ of us that were there!
