I can still hear Dick playing "Take 5" in the sixth grade with Mr. Driskill on the drums and our little band in the background. I have many many good memories of good times with Dick. Life just goes by so fast for some.

Dick was an awsome guy and a good freind. I never heard him say a bad word about anybody. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My condolences go out to Vicki and his family.

Dick Coker was a childhood friend, as growing up we often played the sport which was in season. I can remember the tackle football games on a cold wet Saturday afternoon at Tommy (Bubba) Bay's house and the other guys whom made up our group. Others on the grid-iron were Danny McDaniel, Fred Schumn,Allen Brosche, Lee Sheep Ancona, Mark Bachtel and others.
The Coker family was very special as Dick's parents always made us feel very special when visiting their house next to A.P. Beutel school. Nothing but good memories with Dick, as his passing I'm sure was an even greater loss to his immediate family and friends.

Dick was a special friend and always got me upset when he made better grades than I did in math class!  He has, indeed, left us too soon.
