Donald Joseph Landry

Donald Joseph Landry, 43, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995, at his residence in Lake Jackson after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Father John De Forke officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Fater Leo Wleczyk officiating.  A rosary service is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Donnie was born Jan. 16, 1952 in Freeport.  He was a lifelong resident of Lake Jackson.  He was of the last senior class of Lake Jackson residents to graduate from Brazosport High School.  He attended Brazosport Junior College.

Donnie was a pipefitter by trade.  He loved all sports and the outdoors, most especially baseball, football, and his favorite pastime, fishing.

Donnie is survived by his beloved daughter, Anna Mauryn of Lake Jackson; parents, Morris and Anne Landry of Lake Jackson; sisters, Gayle Woods and her husband Rick and Cindy Selman, all of Austin; niece, Georganna Carlisle and her husband, Jimmie, of Austin; great-niece, Taylor Carlisle of Austin; great-nephew, Casey Carlisle of Austin; uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers are Rick Woods, Michael Selman, Marcus Landry, Troy Landry, Dru Schumacher and Jerry Hoffman.  Honary pallbearers are Robert Abajian, Christian Landry, Billy Ray Barnett and Neal Hills.
