Rick Allen Rader

Rick Allen Rader, 61, of Sweeny, Texas, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 11, 2013, in Houston, Texas. He was born January 15, 1952 in Freeport, Texas to Carl and Eloise (Sloan) Rader. He was a pipefitter/welder for Dow Chemical Co.

Memorial services will be held 6:00pm Tuesday Evening, July 16, 2013 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Khoury Stanford, Douglas Warnecke, Kim Baines, Craig Peterson, Shane Sullivan, Joe Kahanek, Mark Sydow and John Goodson.

Rick is survived by his wife, Geneva Rader of Sweeny; son, Rick Allen(Bucc) Rader, Jr. and wife, Allison of Angleton; daughters, Misty Dawn Rader of League City, Stephanie Nauman of Danbury and Ashlee Nauman Pitta-Lima of Houston; sister, Pam Stewart and husband, Herbert “Buster” of Clute; sisters in law, Barbara Freiley and husband, J. B., Irene Benefield and husband, C. J. and Mary Dabelgott; grandchildren, Kellen Rader, Makenzie Bell, Luke Pitta-Lima, and Ava Nauman, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Wallace “Wally” Rader.

For I am already being poured out like a drink offering and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Charles L. "Kitten" Murray III

Just visited with Rick about 6 weeks ago in the auto - asile in WalMart. Had a visit. caught up on a lot

of history. Not a word about his condition. Rick is extremely nice guy and dad. Always would say Hi to

you, if he new you. Rick, as I saw it was extremely shy and to himself. He will be sorely missed. Prayers
