Jerry Wayne Rush

Services for former area resident Jerry Wayne Rush, 38, of Brunswick, Ga., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Cere Muscarella officiating.

He died Saturday (July 21, 1990) at Glenn Brunswick Memorial Hospital. 

Friends may call until 9 p.m. tonight at Lakewood Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Restwood Memorial Park.

He was a lifetime area resident, a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson, and a commercial fisherman.  He was a former manager of the Country Cupboard in Brazoria.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Rush of Brunswick, Ga.; his parents, Bob and Liz Rush of Brazoria; one daughter, Emily Rose Rush of Wisconsin; and two sisters, Terry Murphy of Brazoria and Becky Fuller of Houston.

Pallbearers are Phil Frazier, Rick Frazier, Phil Clark, Bill Chambliss, O.B. Simmons and Charles Meier.

Arrangements are by Lakewood Funeral Chapel.

Jerry was my neighbor on South Yaupon and I remember we had alot of classmates that lived on the same street you wouldn't believe. We grew up together and had alot of fun back then. I didn't know of his death till I saw it posted. So sad.
