Funeral services for Jack Earl Swansey, 17, who was killed in an Army transport truck accident in Arizona Monday, will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church 10 a.m. Saturday.
Graveside militray rifles will follow at Restwood Memorial Park. Freeport Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Swansey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack M. Swansey of Freeport and is survived by two brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers for the funeral will be Corky Parker, George Jenkins, Joe Flemming, Tommy Smith, Mike Havilan, and Daniel Pyka.

If my memory is correct I believe Jack quit school and joined the Military, Army I think. He was killed in a wreck. A military jeep turned over he was in.Gary Hardy
