I am not sure if I graduated or 'Moose' Meyers got tired of me sitting in his office? I know approach the final days I still owed 20 some 7th periods.
About 2 weeks after being "let out" of FHS, Warren Ulery talked me into joining the Navy.
I spend about a year in San Diego, and the remaining time in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Upon returning to Fremont, I enrolled at Midland Lutheran College, and four years later graduated with a B.S. in Business Management and B.S. in Economics.
I then entered the insurance business. Over the next 30 plus years, I lived in Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Texas, Wyoming and Montana. On the corporate level is one is successful your reward was 'transfer.'
I enjoyed the experience of living in several states over the years, etc., but it was quite tough on ones personal life. I've been married 23 times,
have 67 kids and 123 grand kids....I think!?!
It has been a long long long road since 1960, with
never a dull moment. sticking to it! Are we having fun, yet?
