Since 1989...I moved to California and met my husband on Huntington Beach (we've been together almost 17 years now). After living in California for about 4 years we moved to Key West, FL. I loved the island life but we had the opportunity to move to Naples, Italy. I was able to travel throughout most of Italy and went up to Paris once. We had two great years there when we then chose to move to Iwakuni, Japan. My daughter Lauren was born in Tokyo and we lived there until she was three. Ken was an Architect for the Department of Defense but quit it all to go back to get his Masters/PPD at Yale. We spent two years in Connecticut while he was completing his degree.
We have finally settled here in San Antonio, TX. We've been here for 6 years and I am still adjusting to being a Texan. However, I love the weather and all of the excitement of this city...Go Spurs! We just had a new house built in August, outside the city, and so now most of my time is spent on settling in and yard work.
As for schooling I spent quite a few years in College but I finally earned my Bachelors degree in Political Science in 2004. I've spent the last year getting my certification to teach Kindergarten through 4th grade. I also started on my Masters Degree in Education last year. I am almost finished, thankfully!
