I have fond memories of knowing Walter, or Cookie as we knew him in school.  He had a fifties model chevy with a stick shift.  He was a bit short and had blocks fastened to the pedals so he could drive it.  I attended the 10 year reunion and was surprised by how some classmates looked exactly as they did in our senior year and others were practically unrecognizable.  Walter was one of the latter. He was apparently a late bloomer.  He had grown a quite few inches ----and mustache!  I often think of just a few of our classmates.  Walter was not a close friend, but his infectious grin has kept him in my thoughts all these years.

Yes "Cookie" had a smile every time I saw him. He was always so happy and positive about everything.

I'll just bet he put up the good fight and showed all his family what a good guy he was during all 10 years!

May he rest in Peace now and his family know some of that Peace.

Love to all of them.
