Dear Hank:
I am so sorry for you and the family.  It certainly is a shock as Suzanne was always such a vibrant person full of verve. She was certainly a favorite of her classmates and teachers.   It was a delight to renew her friendship around and at our 50th reunion.  I will pass on the sad news to our Marywood classmates. Know that many prays and good wishes will come you way.
Yours truly,
Peggy Davison

Dear Hank,
I am shocked and saddened to learn of Suzanne’s death.  At our 50th Marywood reunion in 2011, I was delighted to see her again after so many years.  She was as beautiful as ever, enthusiastic about her life, and seemed genuinely pleased to be with her old classmates.  I commented at the time that seeing and discussing life with her was one of the highlights of the weekend.  I loved hearing about your travels, and delighted at receiving a note from her with a photo of the Masai warriors on the front.  I would say that she loved her life and lived it to the fullest!
Thank you so much for letting us know…my sincere sympathy at such a devastating time.  I lost my husband very unexpectedly ten years ago, and perhaps know a bit of what you are experiencing.  Memories of our many great years together really did help get me through a difficult time, as did the generosity of my friends.  Please allow those around you to be there with you.  I hope you can celebrate Suzanne and the memories you shared.  I will never forget her smile —she lit up the room.
God bless…

Dear Hank,

As you know Suzi and I were friends since the fourth grade.  We were friends through thick and thin, saddness and joy.  I can not feel your sorrow at this time.  I once said to you, I appreciated the fact that you "let Suzi be Suzi".  She was such a joy to know and have as a friend.  Her spontaneity was special and with that smile that always brought a ray of sunshine to all around. Although we did not see each other but everyone once in awhile in later years, I loved the times we had toghether and will always remember them fondly.  My deepest sympathy to you and the family.  Hope to see you in the near future for a big hug.  Love, Karen Miller

Foster family,

As I reflect on my early years in Fullerton, Suzi's quick smile and friendly words were always present through  Elementary, MYF, Cotillion, Jr. High and H.S.  It was always a great group of kids with Suzi always in the mix! As the son of the school Superintendent, it was a difficult time but Suzi never waivered in her cheerful smile and words of encouragement.  As she was off to Algebra II and I was going to Auto Shop or worse Mr. Kills Office (Dean of Boys) her words," Roger everything will work out", was so important for me. I can only imagine how many others she touched in their lives ! She will be missed but not forgotten by all those who were touched by her kindness .  Roger Warburton

From Anna Rodriguez (McIntire) Walser
Thank you for the notice of Suzy's passing.  I had not thought of her for quite a lot of years until about a month ago,  (maybe around the time she passed).  I have had that happen a few times before of thinking of someone I had known, not seen (or knew of since high school) and later learn of their passing.  Interesting.
I think Suzy was in Job's Daughters in that same Fullerton Bethel # 13. I remember a few Jobie's socials at her home, and swimming at her parents' home.  She was always friendly and kind to me even though I was not in her main "circle of influence, friends.."  that meant a lot at the time.
She had a wonderful life it sounds like and I am happy for her to have had the success in life.  She was a good person.  Condolences to her husband and family.
I can only imagine the "reunion" on the other side of heaven with our former classmates.  I wish her the best in her transition.  May she rest in peace.

Sincerely,  Anna Rodriguez (McIntire) Walser
