Tell us about your life and travels since FUHS:
When married, I lived in Anaheim and Lakewood. My children attended Mayfair High School where our family was active in the American Field Service exchange student program. Like many of us, I attended Fullerton Junior College, then San Diego State. I became a teacher and administrator in the ABC district located in Cerritos. My masters degree is in Early Childhood and Parent Education from La Verne, and my doctorate (Ed.D.) from Nova. Although Nova is in Florida, I was in a cadre which met on the Mills campus in Oakland. I taught part time at Cerritos Community College and CSULB while still in the public school system, and ended up at the University of Phoenix at the Fountain Valley, La Mirada, and Costa Mesa sites.
When I left the ABC district, I moved to Washington to be near my son. I have been teaching online classes and supervising student teachers for the University of Phoenix.
