Joseph Patrick Pruitt was the middle child of two brothers, Johnny and Jacob. With only a few months difference between he and his older brother, Johnny, he mostly heard "Johnny and Joey" more than "Joey". The two were unseparable. He spent his childhood doing what most boys do, run around the community with his brother and two dogs, riding bikes and playing hide and seek. His dad taught him how to deer hunt, fish and play baseball. Joey learned the value of earning a hard earned dollar by spending his summers working in tobacco. He loved Ford Mustangs and Marlboro Lights. We may remember him wearing his Levi's, plaid collar shirts (with the sleeves rolled 3/4 length) and Nike shoes. Most of all we miss, love and remember Joey by his all too famous greeting "Hey Bo".

What a wondeful guy. It is amazing where life takes us sometimes and my guess is God needed a really special angel when he took Joey. Some of my biggest smiles come from remembering old times hanging with Joey, Donnie Jones, and Channing Gainey down at the GameLand or at the Grocery Boy Jr. on that video game. Joey could always make me smile and he was always up for anything! He had a huge heart and an amazing soul. WE MISS YOU!!!!!!Mildred Pruitt (Croce)
You are missed every day !!!!!!!!!!!
