After high school, I worked as an orthodontic assistant for two years prior to going to Pfeiffer University. I graduated in 1994 with a BA in Elementary Education. Grant and I married the summer after graduation and have been married now for over 13 years. I taught Second Grade for 4 years and up until this March, I worked for Madison River Communications as a Billing System Analyst. Due to an acquisition by CenturyTel, my job was affected so I am at home right now! I'm taking some time to do projects around the house and enjoy Samantha before venturing back out into the job market!!
Update 6.4.10: I am now working at Elon University in the School of Education, Teaching Fellows Office. We moved last fall to our new home in Burlington, N.C.

I remember yelling as loud and as long as I could at every Pep Rally!!! Our class really had spirit and was never afraid to have fun!
