COSTA TEACHERS

Yes Mr Panther was very tall to us. LOL! And yes Mrs Rutledge was as short as I think they come. Some others I remember was Mrs Hanna - she looked mean but really wasn't, Mrs Norton - one of my personal favorites. She was very nice. (who became principle after our class I believe) - I loved German class with her, "Sprechen zie Deutsch?" - "Ich sprecha Deutsch." too bad I never got to use it ;) I did teach both my kids 1-10 in German as well as Spanish when they were very little, and who could forget Sister Cathryn(sp?).

Costa really was the best times. I wish now they would have kept the high school so we all could have stayed together.

You dont think about it then, but now I realize we had the best education. I just went to my H.S. graduation and I cant speak for Galesburg, but whether its the classmates I seen at the reunion or the ones still here I see daily, they just didnt progress in life like the students from Costa seem to have. I wonder if they have ever performed a study on Costa students education versus public students education. It would truly be interesting. With Fb and personal contact it has just been an observation that I have noticed. I truly feel its due to the education experienced at Costa. Students that have been privileged enough to attend have made something out of themselves and went farther in life. I hope I dont offend anyone its not what I mean to do. I want to commend our class for who we are and who we have become and I believe in my heart it has to do with the experiences we have had through Costa.
