Quick bio: Enlisted in the US Navy right out of HS, spent 21 years on active duty, University of Kansas BS in Engineering Physics 1979, retired in Sacramento, CA in 1990. Been here ever since. Worked in a variety of computer jobs including Intel and HP. Been working as a software engineer with a copier company, Caltronics Business Systems for the last 13 years.

I'd never intended to move again, but at the end of 2019, my employer offered me a buyout to retire, so I took it. My wife Angel said, "Good, it's time to leave California! We're moving to Texas!" 2020 and the Covid plague year was a tough time to move, but with Zillow and Google Maps, and a great realtor, it IS possible to buy a house online. So with the money from selling our overpriced home in California, we bought a house on the western outskirts of San Antonio, TX.

And this time I'm serious; my NEXT move is to the cemetery!
