*Spent a college Semester at Sea with World Campus Afloat: almost 4 months aboard ship, touring Europe, West Africa, South America, Central America.

*Worked at Pioneer Museum & Haggin Galleries in Stockton (Public Relations/Archives)

*Worked at the University of the Pacific Library (Acquisitions)

* Participated in more than 50 art shows (work in textiles/sculpture, etc. -- won some awards)

*Appeared in television pilot: "Senior Year" --- later known as the series: "Sons and Daughters"

*Worked as a journalist in Northern California (Sacramento & San Joaquin counties & the San Francisco Bay Area). Guest on PBS station in San Francisco.

* Produced events.

*Married and had first son, Nicholas, in California

* Moved to Wisconsin due to husband's work in research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

* Had second son, Christos, in Wisconsin.

* Worked as a journalist in southeastern Wisconsin for various newspapers & appeared as guest on radio shows.

* Travelled throughout U.S. (north, south & coast to coast)

* Founded newspaper (Elm Grove News-Independent - 2010) of which I am the Owner & Publisher.

* Recently (October 2017) received "Business Person of the Year Award"

A few stories:

Loved working on our school newspaper The Chieftain --- and serving as the editor of our Senior Paper. (I still have a copy!) Our teacher was John D. Casey who wrote in my yearbook that "journalism is a wide open field". He was right. Many of the lessons learned then remain with me to this day.

I remember when my English teacher, Mrs. Olson, handed out candy (orange slices) during our study of Shakespeare's Hamlet, making the point that real oranges were often given out to those attending theatre at the Old Vic in London during performances of The Bard's plays, essentially to mask the offensive odors of the audience.

Don Nottoli (my Psychology teacher & later long-time family friend) asked if he could have my notebook for the class as his reference for later semesters, as I had an A+ in the class. I gave it to him and hope that it helped!

As an enthusiastic member of the Pep Club--- I once created (for a rally) a large paper banner that read: "Fair is Foul and Foul is Fairfield". The Galt Warriors football team was preparing to play the Fairfield team. I went along on the bus trip to Fairfield. Not sure who won, but always remember the sign that I prepared which quoted a line from a Shakespeare play!

I also enjoyed being a member of Quill & Scroll (journalism), the California Scholarship Federation & competing in some essay contests.
