Hey Class of 1979!! We are gonna have sooooo much fun!!!!! Here is a trivia question for any Burger girls. What was the most common thing that we all learned in HOME EC. ?? No it was not how to make pizza from pillsbury dough biscuits or a bunny rabbit cake. The real answer is: How to write all the measurement equivalents real small on the palm of your hand or on your shoe or a variety of other ways to Ace a test on useless crap without ever really learning it. Oh yeah. Anybody remember that??

Do you remember how ya didn't have to shower in gym class if you had your monthly visitor? We had to say, "Wipe down"" Gross Who thought that up?
I used to lie about that and say wipe down anytime I didn't feel like gettin my hair wet. I wasn't the only one. Somedays, my feather bangs just turned out soooo good. Couldn't mess that up.

Do you remember Mr. Dazer. He was so nice. Well, about 5 years ago, I met a teacher who was Mr. Dazer's niece and she told me that he was happy, healthy, and goin strong and was her favorite uncle.

Ok just some random thoughts anad memories and now I''m going blank so ta ta for now

Major O M G!!!! I just remembered the graduation parties at Garden City park!!! I have never seen a bigger party than that ever anywhere since. I have an idea. We should have an unofficial reunion every year. Livonia high schools do this. They pick a bar and a date and spread the word and just meet at the selected local spot. It could be for any class East and West. It could get bigger every year. Of coarse we will do something special for our 40 year but we could do this small unofficial one for 31 year 32, 33 etc etc.

Now if ya all are doin this already and just not telling me, well that's not nice... just kiddin, So this is a good or bad dea???

Oh yeah and just so you know I WILL be wearing jeans to the reunion and don't try to stop me.

Lou Cinda Musulin (Atkins) Missed seeing you Joe! The party was a blast. Trying not to look at name tags on the sly to see who was hugging you (without looking like an ass) was hard! Lots of laughs last night!

Yvonne Covert (Juzyk) The reunion was great...ended too soon! It was wonderful to see everyone. This website will remain available to us. Lots of people talking about getting together more often. Using this website would be a great way to send out those announcements!

What a great time last night! I was so pleased with the way everything turned out. So many people stayed right till the end. Makes me think that having a 35th or 40th might not be out of the question :-)

We'll have to try getting together at a restaurant or comedy club this winter, then maybe a potluck picnic in the summer.

Be sure to keep your information up to date...address, e-mail and photos. We have a great way of communicating. We might as well use it.

Gc West --Reunion Committee

Thanks to everyone who came to the reunion and made it a huge success. We had so many people who came long distances to join us. That means a lot! The addition of Mark Gutman and Larry Conn was also a special treat.

It was great to see a few of the 1978 grads there too helping us celebrate. If any of you want to join the site so you'll be included in future get-togethers, just drop us an e-mail. We'd be glad to add you as guest members.

Remember that this site will remain active, so keep in touch. Visit often to see what's new.

Thank you so much Reunion Committee for doing such a wonderful job getting our class of "79" back together again! It was such an emotional and exciting evening to go back in time and rekindle some great memories and friends. My cheeks were sore on Sunday from laughing and smiling all night! What a great evening it was to see everyone!
