40th Class Reunion Survey

Hello Everyone!

As of next June, we will have been out of high school 40 years! That's hard to believe.

A couple people have put the bug in our ear about the possibility of having another reunion. While I'm not interested in planning another full-blown formal affair, I would entertain the idea of planning something much more casual.

The possibly renting one of the Chalets at Camp Dearborn, is a good option. The Chalets can seat 80 people, are air conditioned and have a kitchen area if needed. Many people may even prefer to be outdoors with lawn chairs, so it will accomodate many more people. Classmates would bring their own food and drink and perhaps, dishes to share as well. There are BBQ grills available for those who wanted to cook something. It would be more like an Open House. We can rent the Chalet for $55 per hour, with a 5 hour minimum. People could come and go as they pleased. I would imagine we could collect the rental fee via donation at the door.

There are campsites and small cottages available to rent for anyone who might want to stay overnight. There is a lake with a cantina (for simple food purchases), paddle boats, miniature golf, etc. Take a look at the website.

With a casual event, it would be very inexpensive and no one has to commit money ahead of time. You can decide to come at the last minute.
