Jeff was one of my best friends at Burger. I was stunned when I had heard that he was hit by a car while on business in OH on April 26, 1999. Jeff was very smart, voted most likely to succeed and was Burger's spelling bee champ. A title he held more than once. Not only smart but athletic as well. He excelled in wrestling at West. I remember watching him eat celery sticks on the days of meets for lunch, oh and carrots too. Yes, he had both, muscles and brains. I never met his wife, Darlene. What a great married name, Dar Darr. My thoughts and prayers have gone out to her for almost 10 years now. May God bless Jeff and his widow.

Aww Larry that was nice.
Your right Jeff was one of the smartest kids I remember.
And winning the spelling bee thanks for reminding me.
Bless his family.

Jeff was so smart, and nice too. I remember sitting next to him in first grade and we would try to stump each other with math problems. We were also on student council together in 6th grade. He was always trying to keep me on task. Larry thanks for reminding me about the wrestling. What a bummer that he died so young.

Ive been trying to post something appropriate about jeff, but I could not come up with anything.  Well here goes. I met Jeff when I was five, and we won a science fair in elementary together (it was all Jeff).  I helped get him elected to student council.  We were always close because we were both short.  In Berger he got me into wrestling.  He was always a really good friend and teammate. I went to our last reunion with the thought of reconnecting with an old friend, only to see a memorial to him on the first page. But after all that, all I think of to say is Jeff you are missed.
