Heaven has another bright, shiney star today.  Candis (Candy) passed away this morning at 5:30 with Harrison by her side.  I don't know the details of her illness, I just know that for about at least a year, and possibly longer, she has been very ill and not her old self.

Candis will be missed terribly by so many of us.  Anyone that knows her will have a wonderful story to tell of a past experience with her or of some random card or letter that she sent that was written on a very plain piece of paper that turned into a piece of art by the time she finished it!

My heart is truly broken and I know it will mend as time goes on.  I have said it before, but I cannot say it enough, Candis has ALWAYS been such an inspiration to me.  I hope in some small way, I can live up to all of the wonderful things she has taught me and inspired me to do in my life.
