Jimmy was about the smartest guy I ever knew. You could always count on him to make a 100% on a test and really mess up the grade curve for the rest of us. Guess should have studied more. Jimmy was always willing to answer question and help you study.

I saw Jimmy in the 80's, he told me he had a PHD in unemployment!  My memories of Jimmy  were in Mrs. Betty Dowsey's 5th grade class, Kimberlin Elementary School, he was reading all about Adolf Hitler!  What a brain...Sorry to hear of his untimely death from a major disease.

Jimmy used to walk his bassett hound by my house, and you could tell he really adored that dog. Jimmy and I had a fierce grade rivalry through grade school. He almost always won, of course. He was brilliant and had a great thirst for knowledge.  I remember him as being the most impartial umpire we ever had at recess softball games. A co-worker of his said he was great guy to work with. I was sorry to hear of his passing. He died on July 18, 1985.
