I thought about Deborah once in a while through the years and wondered where she was and what happened to her.

I met Debbie at Sam Houston Jr. High when I was new there after my family moved back to Dallas from living in California. She was always so wild and crazy! When we were 16 she insisted that I go to this party with her. It was at Butch MacInelly's house ( older guitar playing guy ) and a local band called the Barking Spiders was playing there. I would later marry the bass guitar player, Jimmy Walker. Years later after she married Jack Rogers and we both had kids we used to visit each other's homes, our kids played together, & our husbands fished and hunted together. When I was living in Florida in 1991 I heard from Debbie's mother that Debbie had been in a hit and run car accident on LBJ. Initally she appeared fine, but then she fell into a coma. She did regain consciousness but never communicated again. She lived a few years but almost in a vegetable state. Too sad. I still talk to her parents sometimes and visit them not as often as I should. Debbie had a son and a daughter and never knew her beautiful granddaughter, Chloe, who was born in 2003. By the way Debbie passed away in March 1995.
