I went to elementary, junior high and high school with Larry. He was quite a comic. He and I sat together in 4th grade. I remember when we came back from Christmas break and his bottle of Elmer's Glue had leaked in his desk drawer. When he pried it lose, the glue was stuck on the side of the bottle and he'd pretend it was a sucker - yes, he would actually lick it!
He was Ollie Owl. When the band would play "JoJo" at the football games, that was his song and he would always dance to it. He looked so cute - a dancing Ollie Owl.
He was a big Kennedy conspiracy buff. I think he actually wrote a book or collaborated on a book about it.
Larry was a great "Ollie Owl". Co-author of "Cover-Up" and helped with the JFK assassination Center in Dallas. Consulted with Oliver Stone during the filming of the movie "JFK".
