Gina Beckman Baumgartner

I spent about 2 1/2 years at Lew Walllace. This was a very difficult time in my life. My mother had passed away and I decided to leave Louisiana and go to Indiana to finish high school. I really don't remember a lot of people. I basically hung around my cousins Ambra, Carl and Glen. I liked the fact that the school had students with disabilities.

A funny story I remember is for senior ditch day I didn't know what to do. I didn't think ditching was cool but I thought I probably still should since it was a tradition. I sat under a tree and visited with a friend not realizing I happened to be in eye's view of one of my classes. The teacher told me about it the next time I attended class and I got really embarrassed.
