Curtis Goble/Connor

In short, finding myself ... it has taken a while. Graduated from UNC (go heels!) in 1992 with BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Worked as a histologist for way too long. Played an insane amount of volleyball since college. Won a national championship in 1998 at USA Volleyball Open in the Men's A Gold division. Attended medical school at St. George's University. Lived in Brooklyn for 2 years doing clinicals. Working at my sister's sandwhich shop (Substation II) presently, while I await placement in a residency position for pediatrics. Enjoying learning the game of tennis now. Anyone interested in playing shoot me an email. Also, where are all the volleyball players (indoor or out) in Gastonia!?

I think I was considered a nerd. So, true to form, I graduated 10th in my class. Funny memory: while walking from the van to the pool (swim practice at Belmont Abby), I knelt on one knee and made fun of a monk there. When I did my first dive there that day, the water was so hot that I could barely stand it! At our next practice the water was so cold that I could barely make it to the surface when I dived into the pool. Never made fun of monks again!
