after graduating from college i moved to GA & recruited for Big Brothers/Big Sisters for a couple of years. i then moved to California (San Francisco) and ended up living there for just over 11 years. I went through a variety of sales jobs before getting my securities licenses & becoming a stockbroker. I made partner after 2 years and eventually became a managing director of the firm. i met my wife Shannon in SF in 1997 and we got married in 2000. We decided a couple of years ago that we were ready to start a family and that we wanted to raise a child in a more mellow environment. I also decided that I needed to downshift my lifestyle and stress level, so when we left SF to move to Wilmington in 2006, i simultaneously left the securities industry. I now work for HomeInsurance.com and spend as much time as possible with Shannon my beautiful baby daughter Gabrielle. I do a lot of grilling on my back deck, play a lot of poker, and also kiteboard.
