I have been at Drake Software for 14 years. I have been married for almost 11 years (May 31, 1997) to my wonderful wife Cindy. We have 2 children. Heather, 8 years old and Daniel, 6 years old.

My son Daniel was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a cancer of the sympathetic nervous system, a year and a half ago (November, 2006). He and my wife spent a year in Memphis at St. Jude while I stayed here in Franklin keeping bills paid and taking care of our daughter. I'm pleased to say that he responded well to the chemo and is now cancer free. He is now on maintenance therapy which consists of an oral chemo regiment for the next year or so.

There was one year in band when I had to run 20 yards (the 30 yard line to the 50 yard line) to play a duet. There was one competition that year where the field was damp from rain. I could hear the gasps as I slid into my position without falling!
