Hmmmm...How do you sum up 25 years in just a few words? After graduation, I headed to Kearney for one semester--HATED it, so I went back to Colorado for awhile to "have fun" with all my friends there. I decided after a short time to go back to college in ND where my family lived and graduated in December 1990. I headed back to Colorado and was a Personnel Administrator. I then went to work for the Juvenile Division at the District Attorney's office.
On May 29, 1993, my husband Terry (whom I had known since junior high) and I were married. We will be celebrating our 17th anniversary this year. We had our first son, Dwight in 1994. We knew at that time "career life" for me was not what the Lord had planned. However, I was not able to quit working until Desiree was born in 1997. When she was 10 days old we moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We had Tierra in 2001 and Treyson in 2003.
We moved to North Dakota 4 1/2 years ago and enjoy the benefits of our company, Grace Transportation. We deliver organic food to families, coops, and health stores across 7 states in the upper midwest. We have made great friends in many different states and enjoy the time we have to share our faith with so many of those that we come into contact with. My husband works a week and is home a week so we are blessed with a great deal of family time which we enjoy.
We have homeschooled our children for the past 10 years and this gives us the freedom to travel with my husband for business, as well as for pleasure.
I have officially been a "country girl" now for the past 13 years, and am still learning new things each day. Although I am still not an animal lover, all my family members are and I can't imagine any different life for my children. And, I do have to say, that I LOVE being out in the middle of nowhere and enjoying the peace and quiet (when our family isn't running in 100 different directions).
