Comments:

Graduated from U.W.M. with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Subbed in Milwaukee for a year and the city tore me apart..ha ha...changed careers and received my Cosmetology license from Erik of Norway. Worked at a local beauty salon in Germantown for a few years then returned to teaching at Kennedy Middle School as a Special Educational Assistant for emotionally disturbed children. We then bought and moved to a farmette in outskirts of Campbellsport where I enjoyed my home and many, many pets (yes, even a pet potbellied pig!) I quit my job in Germantown to work closer to home and ended up opening my own breakfast business in town. It was one of the best jobs I've had! Worked 7 days a week, but yet never seemed like work because the customers were so fun to be with each morning. Being self employed was great..for once I got to make all the rules..ha ha....Then I got divorced, closed my breakfast business, went back to school for my CNA license and worked at St. Josheph's Convent taking care of all the little retired nuns...a blessing of a job...Currently, I am working on getting back into teaching. Went back to Marian College to update my degree and this is my second year working for the WestBend School distict with the Special Ed. department, which I enjoy greatly. Jim and I now live on Long Lake and love to go boating, swimming, snorkeling and hang out on the lake with friends. When we are not out on the lake, we enjoy going for motorcycle rides on nice days and snowmobiling in the winter. At this time in life, no kids to wean from the nest, so just working hard and enjoying life. Time is so precious..and it goes by way too fast.

School Story:

I always will remember Trent making chicken sounds on his french horn in band class. I do not think I laughed so much and so hard as I did with him in those highschool years...Also, parties at Patty Lemke's house..and following around the "goon squad"...from pool hopping to for-sales signing yards...what fun summers those were!!! Good friends-Jenny, Judy, Nancy and Rox..many laughs and talks all those years... I remember meeting Whitney Hakes in Kindergarten...he had on a seude vest with long fringes..He was always so much fun to be with. I recall his mother saying one night at one of his parties.."Cherish these years in highschool, because once they are over, you will only see your friends at weddings and funerals..." How right she was.
