Comments:

Right after hs I took a semester off to work, then started attending UWWC. After a few years of that I attended UW-O for a couple of years. I never finished my degree but I met my ex-wife there, and if that is why I was there, then so be it. We married in Oshkosh in Dec. of '94 just before final exams. She became a 1st grade teacher at Appleton Christian School and shortly after that I became a part-time Youth Pastor at Bethel Baptist Church which is now called RiverValley Church in Oshkosh. In 1999 we had our first daughter Raychel who is into soccer and horses. In Aug of '99 we moved to Hartford, WI to be the full-time YP for First Congregational Church. They were not able to afford my position so we moved to Grand Ledge, MI in May of 2001 to serve at Oneida Gospel Church. This job has really allowed me to stay a kid. I love what I do and it takes me back to my days in high school. I also substitute teach for our district. We had our second daughter Rylie in 2002 and she loves ballet and anything Hannah Montana. Our third daughter Renna was born in 2005. We are done! We love where we are at but would like to move back to WI. We'll have to wait and see. Some of my other interests are video editing (I would like to start up a side business some day), watching the Packer's, and messing around with my kids. I hope we can make it to the reunion.
As of November of 2009 we moved back to Wisconsin. I am currently working for Lutheran Social Services as a Youth Care Provider. I am also looking to take over my father's business in the very near future.
As of May 2017, I have been divorced, my three daughters are in college, Soph and 7th grade....and I'm not taking over my fathers business. I am remarried to an amazing woman that I met online and she selflessly moved to Wisconsin from Utah to start a life with me. Its funny how life can change in a short period of time. Oh and yeah, I started over being a father again. We had an amazing little girl Adelaide in March of 2017. I'm soaking her in and loving every minute of it.
Future plans? Waiting until my first three kids graduate high school and finish my life out west in the dry heat and mountain ranges of southern Utah.

School Story:

Greg Franzen and I were in Mr. Stiever's class and I had to go to the bathroom. I insistently kept asking Mr. Stiever if I could go but he kept denying my request. After one last attempt Greg said, "PINCH IT HAYDIN" which resulted in a detention for both of us!

I remember going to the Falls to go bowling with Craig Hoefs and blowing all our money on video games there.

I remember having a locker next to Kelly Havey. I always thought she was crazy! Sorry Kelly! The last day of school I ripped off my locker number for a keep sake (I still have it to this day) and I remember about 7 years ago going to visit and walking past my old locker and they still hadn't replaced it!

I keep thinking of a few more now that I think about it! Rod Demlang. Just saying the name says it all! We were in Mr. REX Petersen's drafting class one day and Rod decided to bring a stink bomb into class. This stuff really smelled like first rate crap! He busted the pill under the garbage can and, wow! REX didn't know what to do! He told someone to run to a different class to get a fan to blow the stink out! Then Rod stuck the blame on Tony Mancuso and we were all saying that Tony s*** in his pants. The whole hour you heard, "Aww Tony! You stink man!" The only bad thing about it was that we had to sit through it the whole hour and my table was the second away from it!

I remember slamming my friends car into Mike Conley's car in the parking lot after school one day. It was a beat up car, solid as concrete but had a pretty suped up engine. I wanted to hold the brake down and rev it up and pop it into reverse and burn some rubber....it did, just a Mike was behind me....the rest is a blur but I think I tried to blame it on Mike some how....sorry man!

So I've been thinking about my time in hs just recently and have come to realize that I never did get to know many of you really well. Except for a couple of close friends (Tony M, Craig H, and other upper or lower classmen). I did realize though that I was friends/acquaintances with you all no matter what "social standing" you were in. I remember friendly smiles and hellos as I passed you in the halls. Or being able to joke around with you if we happened to sit next to one another in class. Living where I did, out in the country, I didn't have a lot of access to making my way into parties or making a lot more friends. But I would have to say that my time during those four year of mid to late 80's was very positive. You all played a roll in it. Thanks.
