I moved to California after graduating and went to The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. After graduating I worked in LA for a company that makes gift baskets for award shows and was a personal assistant. Then decided the LA life wasnt for me moved back to the Harbor, went to TCC. Decided to be an American Studies major and moved to Iowa and attended the University of Iowa. I have been living in Iowa for about 6 years now. Iowa has a charm of its own and I have really grown to like it. I work and live in the Amana Colonies. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Iowa. It used to be a communal religious community. I am the program director and gift store manager at the Amana Heritage Society. In my free time I am a Civil War reenactor. So basically I like to go camping wearing funny clothes and using only things they had in the 1860s. Sounds weird, but it is fun and I get to travel around the Midwest a lot.
