I got ASE Certified and worked as a Computerized Engine Control Tech for a few years and decided I hated working on cars. I then chose to go back to school to get a degree and teach math at a college. I went to MCC and I got the opportunity to teach 7th & 8th grade math and science at Edu-Prize charter school. I wrote curriculum and taught for a year and a half then started a custom pool cue company. After 4 years or so of expanding my cue company to include three separate name brands,(Bilancia Cues, Graphiti Cues, and Infinity Custom Cues.) I bought a pool hall on the SE corner of Gilbert and Baseline November of 1999; Lazy-Q Billiards. Since then I’ve been renovating and running my pool hall, and trying to find time to resurrect my cue companies.
Other than that, I’ve been enjoying time with my beautiful daughter and awesome son, their mom Tammy Quick and their older brother Kyle, and their older sister Kelsie. (And yes, their mother insisted on all the names starting with a “K”)
Most days I feel like I’ve lived a charmed life, I work too many hours but in the end, it’s worth it.
