Clarice was born in Glace Bay and grew up in Dominion, graduating from MacDonald High School before proceeding to Glace Bay General Hospital where she trained as a Registered Nurse.
Clarice started her nursing career at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, and shortly afterward met Bernie and they married in 1961, spending the past 54 years together raising their children, proudly loving their grandchildren and a great grandchild, enjoying family and friends, and travelling around the world.
