ALICE MacLEOD

It was with great sadness on December 11th, 1967 we said farewell to our dear classmate Alice MacLeod as she was laid to rest in MacGregor Cemetery, Sydney Forks.

Alice was born in Sydney, the only daughter of Gertrude and Thomas MacLeod. She was a graduate of Sydney Academy and the Glace Bay General Hospital School of Nursing. Sadly her desire to pursue her career in Public Health was cut short by her battle with cancer.

Alice died far too early but she is fondly remembered by her classmates for her pleasant smile, jovial caring manner and that mischievous way  that got her in hot water more than once.

In our hearts we see you still,

even though you've departed.

Invisible to our eyes,

but always in our thoughts.

We really miss you very much.
