In Memory

Patsy Jarvis (Staedler)

Barbara Knopf Burtt-Edwards sent the following email on Friday, Dec. 30 in regard to Patsy's passing

It is with great sadness that Patsy passed away December 18 after a battle, which she fought valiantly, with cancer. I will dearly miss talking to her and most importantly laughing together. Patsy was one of the most generous and kindest person I have ever known and hopely she is on a better journey making the people on this journey rolling over with laughter. She was my friend.

I (Nancye) can only add that I remember Patsy as a great kid in high school. She was vivacious, fun to be with and a terrific dancer. We loved American Bandstand together and she and I got to go on the show a few times, too. She had a crush on a kid from the show named Harvey Robbins and was thrilled she got to meet him. I wish I had had the chance to see her again before she passed away.

The following is Patsy's obituary from the Newark Star Ledger on January 17, 2012
