James Post, a Delta pilot, was shot twice in the back while he slept in his bed in his Palm Beach, Fla. home in 1986. He was 41. His wife Jill was questioned by police, but newspaper reports at the time indicate she was not arrested since the police did not have enough evidence. His parents, Doris and Frank, filed a civil suit against Jill, accusing her of his death and preventing her from inheriting his reported $400,000-$500,000 estate. They won the suit.
