In Memory

Ned Toth

Ned Toth passed away in 2005 at the age of 60. He was married to Beth for many years, lived in Mountain Lakes and had a daughter, April, according to David Morris.

After graduating from Glen Ridge High School, he attended Fordham University and became a social worker in Newark. It was a challenging job, but one that he found rewarding, Dave reports.

"I have many fond memories of Ned - he was one of the Hillside Avenue gang that also included John Hanley, Trudy Kernan and myself," said Dave.

Ned must have had an amazing career as a social worker in those tough times for Newark.

God Bless!

Ned was a decent and gentle person.   How characteristic of him to live a life of service to people less fortunate than he.  I wish that I had known he lived in Mountain Lakes ---perhaps during my 25 years there at the HS.  I do not recall a student by his daughter's name going through the high school.  I would have liked to renew our acquaintance

His passing is a loss to all of us.
