Jacksonville, S.C.
Norfolk, W.Va.
Norwich,N.Y.
Glenwood Springs,Co.

Where did you meet your spouse/partner?

As a Junior in High School, Johnson, Ks.

What have you been doing since graduation?

Working and raising a family. Was a volunteer EMT for many years and loved that. Loved Emergency medicine the best but fell into the OR 5 years ago and now am the manager. My husband and his two brothers have a true family farm. We raise corn, wheat, milo and have 400 head of cattle. Our oldest son Beau also farms with us. Am now looking forward to retirement and am looking to buy a home in Woodland Park,Co. for the family to enjoy whenever!

Do you still have family in Glenwood?

No.

If you no longer live in the Glenwood area, would you ever move back?

I've never thought of that! Practically speaking, probably no.

What did you always want to do?

Raise horses. Live on a ranch.

Did you accomplish what you wanted to do?

I'm in a completely opposite direction of what I thought I wanted as a youth. I think it's mostly been good though. Still wouldn't mind looking out on a pasture full of horses.

What was or is the high point of your life?

I think I'll wait and reflect on that when I'm 80. I'm waiting for "it" to happen.

Travel much? Where all have you traveled to?

Travel as much as job and family allow. Europe ( Italy, France, Switzerland and England) when I was 16. Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Hawaii. Yearly treks to Las Vegas ( got my show tickets bought for December!) DisneyWorld for family trips.

What places do you still want to travel to?

Back to Europe. But especially want to see Greece. And any island will do.

Any vices?

Food? I've gained some weight since age 50. Occasional bad thoughts and self-pity. ( I'm human!)

What was your nickname in school?

I can't remember. Oops, is that a vice?

Any nickname now?

Nope.

Favorite memory of GSHS?

Mainly my good friends - Bonnie, Debbie and others.

Least favorite memory of GSHS?

I'll get back on this.

Biggest thing you would do differently if you were able to go back to your time at GSHS?

Be more outgoing, more self assurred. Friendlier. That's what it's all about. Oh yeah, and study, I guess.

Any gray hair yet?

Not telling. Only my hairdresser knows for sure.
