Since 1988? A few years of the Navy. After that; Raleigh, Goldsboro, ...and since '95, ...this part of the State. I've had several different jobs, in several different industries, over the years; materials handling, professional driving (light trucks, ...not getaway cars.), construction, retail, automotive, industrial maintenance,...a little technical college, ...and that's about it. Haven't gotten married yet, and haven't really been ready to. Not a player, just takin' my time, that's all. I have one son, born in '95...and I try to be a good Dad. Thesedays, I've decided that I really need to try to get some of my creative material out there, ... really chase the dream, ...because that muse is ALWAYS BUGGING ME! I can't upload any pictures. I don't have the gear for that. Yes, 20 years has been a long time, but strange, ...it doesn't seem like twenty years. Thinking back, can you remember what you thought you, and your life, was going to be like? By this time, I thought I woulda had a mansion, a yacht, a wife, 2 or 3 kids. I always thought 40 was middle-age, that I'd start to look and feel old. The years just seem to go by slowly when you're young, and then little by little, time picks up speed, and it's 20 years after high school and you're 40 years old! I've enjoyed looking through all the profiles and pictures, and I'm glad "The Team" got this site up and going. It's hot (hahahahaha)! I don't do, "lol".
School Days. Our school was big. Not everybody knew one another, and sometimes you knew the names and the faces, but not the people themselves. I left GHS three months into our Freshman year, and went to school at North Lenoir HS, in LaGrange, but came back to Goldsboro for the Senoir year. So, my favorite memories are gonna be from Senoir year. Mrs. Adams 6th period English. Mr. Tyndal's 4th period Western Civ.. Ms. Wooten's 1st period Publishing. The rest of my classes were with a bunch of underclassmen; Drafting I , Study Hall (naptime, ...when I showed up.), Algebra I (a senoir! Algebra I as a senoir! I HATED math.) I really enjoyed watching the talent show we had that year. The Pep Rallies. The Fire-drills. Graduation Ceremony. Graduation-night party.
