WILMINGTON -- Michael "Mike" Paul Foucht died Monday, February 5, 2007. He was born in Newark, Ohio April 23, 1978 son of Stephen Craig Foucht and Jean Arnold Foucht of LaGrange, N.C.

Mike was employed by US Food Service, graduate of Eastern Wayne High School Class of 1996 in Goldsboro, N.C., graduate of UNC-W 2001, outfielder for UNC-W Baseball 1997-2000, holder of three UNC-W Baseball records, assistant coach at Laney High School 2001/02, outfielder for Wilmington Sharks baseball team 1997 and very active in community sports.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Cara Foucht of the home; brother; Craig Foucht and wife, Nikki, of LaGrange, N.C.; nephew; Michael Foucht; grandparents; Phyllis Arnold of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Charles and Jean Foucht of Newark, Ohio; godmother; Jane Kirchhoff of Ohio.
