Johnny always had a larger then life personality and it saddens me deeply that he died at such a terribly young age. He will be missed and I pray that he is in a much better place.

John did take his own life.He lived with me and my wife at different times after school,he had a son with a girl but I just cant remember her name. His mom and the rest of the family moved up by grayling I think and John eventually followed.I think his girlfriend and son had already left.We stayed intouch most of the time by telephone until his death. We had many conversatons at 2-3 in the morn, use to piss me off,now I miss them.

One of things I remember about johnny and me was our great basketball playing skills. If I remember correctly, everyone wanted us on their teams. Team leaders would leave us two for last. I think it so hard to choose between us at the beginning, that's why they left us at the end. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

It's too Bad Jonnie didn't get to experience some of the joy he spread among us. The consummate comedian. Always able to make everyone else laugh, but too cover up his pain inside. How is his brother Leroy. He must have taken it very hard.He only held on 'til '94. I don;t know about the rest of you, but each year since '94 has given me more and more joy. We expect too much too young.I betta ya if he could have had the last 15 years back he would have done something swell with his life. To some of us fortunes come immediately to other it take a while longer, but in the end I bet we are all pretty happy with were we are. All my love to the Butler Family and Tim O'Berry also. I hope his familiy at least has some contact with his children
