Frequently Asked Questions

 

What is the dress attire for the weekend?

Semi-formal (cocktail dress) attire will be suitable for the reception held on Saturday, and casual attire for the family picnic held on Sunday.

Are kids allowed to attend the reception held on September 12th?

No, this event will be for adults only.  However, on Sunday, September 13th, there will be a picnic at Goose Creek High School for your entire family to attend.

 

What happens if I am unable to pay the dues or RSVP by August 15th, 2009?

We will continue to take payments up until the night of the reception.  However, priority seating will be given to people who have prepaid. In addition, there will be an increase of $5 to cover any out-of-pocket expense the committee members may have to absorb to ensure expenses are paid. If you are planning on paying at the door, cash payments will only be accepted.

 

If I have children, may they attend they picnic?

Absolutely!  This picnic and school tour is for the entire family to fellowship with friends.  Their will be awesome activities and food for the entire family to enjoy.

 

If I have children attending the picnic, do I have to pay any additional money?

No, for all children attending the picnic there will not be any additional fees.

 

Will alcohol be served the weekend of our event?

There will be a cash bar on the evening of September 12th.  However, only non-alcoholic beverages will be served at the family picnic.

 

How will we get a confirmation of payment?

You will receive an email confirmation, stating your payment was received.  In addition, you will receive a personal invite via US Mail, which will have your tickets and the directions to the event.

 

Are there any items prohibited during this weekend event?

No guns, pets, or liquor. Violators will be asked to leave.

 

What is the refund policy?

In the event you are unable to make the reunion, 100% refund will be given to all payments made by on or before July 1st, 2009.  No refund will be given for all payments made after July1st, 2009.

 

What does the $65 cover?

Great question! Your $65 will cover great dining, entertainment, prizes, games, souvenirs and the Country Club rental fee. 

 

Will there be any hotel accommodations made for those individuals traveling out of town?

Rooms will be reserved at the Hampton Inn, located off University Blvd near Charleston Southern.  Group rates will be provided, which should help minimize the traveling expense.


What if I am only attending one of the reunion events over the weekend--do I still have to pay $65 dollars?
Yes, the price is the same for those attending all or any of the events over the weekend.
