Comments about my life!! Too funny....where do I begin.... After high school my life was incredibly busy. In the first ten years I got married(Ross Thompson), went to nursing school, had two children, moved to Memphis, returned to Blytheville, went to EMT and Paramedic school and then got divorced.
The next ten years were equally as busy. I remarried,(Richard Storey) moved to Mississippi worked with the air ambulance in Memphis, became a volunteer firefighter/paramedic, and got divorced, again. I was a single parent while my children were in high school, and much to my delight, both children were band nerds, just like there mother!! My daughter also became a very competitive athlete, and being a varsity soccer mom and band mom kept me very busy.
At some point during this time I met my current husband Steve. It took him three years to talk me into getting married again, and we have been married for 4 years. Lets face it, after two marriages down the drain, why do it again!!
Being an Air Force brat has carried over into my adult life. I still love to travel and experience new cultures and traditions. When I/we are not traveling, you can always find me at a hockey game. Being an only child, I always watched sports with my dad, and still would rather watch a good game than a chick flick any day!!
During the days when I was working as a paramedic, flight nurse and research nurse at St Jude, I realized what really matters in life.
I am not sure what the future has in store for me, but I know that each day when I wake I thank God for another day to live, love, laugh and to be used by him for his glory. Each day we have the opportunity to impact so many lives, some we are aware of, and others we are not. It is often those we are unaware of that matter the most!!
Just thought I would share.....
