Doug Hypes (moved before '83)

I attended Gosnell Jr High in 1976 through 1977. These were the 7th and 8th grade years. I am a military brat so this is why the short time at Gosnell. The years there were full of great memories. Made lots of friends the short time there, still in contact with a few folks some 32 years later. I wish I had done a better job keeping in touch with others.
The one funny story that was not so funny then was the Jr High basketball team got to play in front of the school one afternoon. I was dribbling the ball down the court when I thought I heard 5, 4, 3, 2, took the shot from about half court with like a....... minute left, needless to say Coach Austin and Chandler was not happy and at that age I was pretty embarressed. I laugh to this day about it. I hope I’m the only one remembered that story.
