Wow it has been a long time! Well lets see…After high school I went to ACC for a short time...went through Burlington Police academy in 1989-1990...went to work for a small police department in 1990 (lost some friends, I wonder why?). Returned to school (ACC) and got my AAS degree in criminal Justice, Went to Guilford College and got my BA in Justice and Policy Studies...Got married, have a great son which is 13 now! (gosh we are getting old!) Got divorced… (Seems to be common for some reason, not a good thing, just common) Changed jobs in 1998, I was appointed to a Magistrates position in Judicial District 19B, where I am currently employed! Got remarried in 2003 Went back to school two years ago and just finished my MS in criminal Justice. (Just think, I thought I would not make it out of high school! lol). I have also been involved in teaching at Randolph Community College since 1999 in the criminal justice program (AAS program) and Basic law enforcement training where I teach firearms and physical fitness. Aside from RCC I teach the concealed carry handgun classes. You can see more about that at www.concealedclass.com. So, if you are in the market to get your concealed handgun permit…give me a call! (Granted that you can legally possess a handgun… lol) Over all it has been good! I have been blessed over the years. I look forward to seeing you all soon!
