When looking at profiles with NO comments, I realized I should write something. I taught Math in Cavalier after graduating from UND in 1974 with classmate Don Walter. After 2 years I moved to Wisconsin to teach.I also taught in East Grand Forks for a year. After teaching I worked for B. Dalton, ran a fitness center and worked as a teacher at Aaker's Business College. Since 1983, I have owned and operated a Collectibles store. The flood of 1997 really hit me hard, I was in a store downtown in the City Center Mall-4 feet of dirt, I eventually reopened a store on South Washington and later moved to the K-Mart Mall. I retired in 2015 but kept an office is the mall for 2 more years. During the pandemic I got divorced. I now live quietly in my same condo on 32nd and Cherry. I have been dating a very special woman since April of 2022. We have known each other for over 40 years. She was married to a guy I played softball with. She has been divorced for 20 years. Life is really good, I worked as the Central rep for this website and the 50th Reunion which we had a year late in 2021. I am also on the alumni board for Teacher Hall of Fame. I stay busy with my Girlfriend, selling online, and with my church, Sharon Lutheran.

I sometimes regret not having done more extra curricular activities. I look through my yearbook and see classmates who worked on the yearbook or school paper and wonder Why I didn't do that. I guess having a job throughout my high school years didn't always allow that.
I recall the funniest thing from high school involved Bob Clayburg. He read (Quite loudly) some printing etched inside a drawer in Physics class "Mr Evju is a son-of-a-bitch". Mr Evju walked over and Bob said, "It's what it says here in the drawer". Mr Evju, in his own special way said, "Well, that's what they say, but you know it's not true." I always had a lot of respect for Mr. Evju, after that, but I laugh every time I think of that day.

I see Fred Larson occasionally around Grand Forks, and Don Dubuque is in my service Club, Katie Larson and I went to the same church until she moved to Minneapolis to be close to her kids, Nancy Bjerke still attends that church, I see some other classmates around town when I recognize them, some have changed quite a but.
I did visit Paul Kube on a trip to San Diego, he and his wife had me over for supper.
Many close High School friends, I rarely if ever see, Dennis Sollom is a Doctor in Fargo whom I haven't seen in many years, Andy Lee has dropped off the edge of the world, Brent Porter lived in Denver, but has now moved back to Grand Forks. Jim Murphy and Don Walter have passed away, I am sure there are others I am forgetting.

I always wanted to write a book, I guess there is still time!
