I still remember Annie's Funeral nearly 40 years later. I spoke to her sister, who has said, many people have told her of the impact, Annie had on their lives.
I remember Annie as a good hearted person. I remember when I was working at the U, a classmate came in and told me that she has collapsed while on the football field during her gym class. It was a shock.
Every time I see a blond head in a crowd, I think of Annie! It was my first experience with death and the awareness of how fragile life is. Hers was most certainly an untimely death.
I also will never ever forget Annie, I remember her at South Junior High I told Blaine Ress I was madly in like or maybe in love(puppy love,ruff ruff) with her. She was always so nice to everyone, always a kind word, and that great smile. she will always be missed Larry Bosma
