Janie Graham Huot

Loving life in Wisconsin. I am currently working in the Registrar's Office at the Univ of Wisc - River Falls, and have been here for seven years. I'm still happiest on horseback and have turned my hobby into a part time job. I am the coach for the UWRF Intercollegiate Horse Show Assoc western show team and I give riding lessons and do some horse show consulting. Eldest son, Charlie, and his wife, Anna and their children, Morgyn-5, Tyler-2, live in Princeton, MN. Charlie manages the archery dept at Scheels in St. Cloud. Mary is working for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt publishers as Exec Mng Editor of the children's books dept and loving life in Boston. She's engaged to be married Aug. 16, 2014 to Jay Magrisso from Boston. Robbie graduated from UWRF in December, 2011 and is working for a pharmaceutical lab in Mendota Heights. Robbie married Sarah Daul on June 8, 2013. He has just been accepted to the Univ of Minnesota Dental School for the Fall 2014-15 term.

Never forget the cold winter day I drove my mom's car to pick up JoAnn Gulberg (Lund) and Janet Gordon (Daucsavage)to go to school and slid into a parked car on the corner of Euclid and Polk Streets....told my mom I hit a telephone pole. My conscience got the best of me mid-morning and I had to call the police dept to report the accident. They said they had a "hit and run" reported that morning and sent a police officer to CHS to pick me up. Wouldn't you know it, it happened to be the day of a game and I'm in my cheerleading uniform, and he arrives right as the lunch bell is ringing! Beucher came out of his office just in time to see the police officer "hauling" me out of the building by the arm! First and only time I've ever been in a squad car and it turned out the officer was a friend of my families and drove me right home to MY MOTHER!! Worse fate than having to go the police station....believe me! Beucher got his "pound of flesh" also later that day.
